- First of all open your internet browser of your choice ( Google Chrome is used in Video ) and type http://192.168.1.1 in browser address bar
- Use your modem administration username and password to get access to modem dashboard
- Now first go to DHCP server > DHCP settings and enable DHCP server
- Now go to client list and you can see which device is associated with which IP address
- Copying the device MAC address and IP address from here, go to “Address Reservation”
- Here in “Address Reservation” we can associate an IP permanently to a Device
- Now go to “Bandwidth Control” and “Enable Bandwidth Control”
- Use “ Add New” option to add IP of the device that’s bandwidth usage you want to limit and specify Upload and Download limit
All done. Bandwidth limitation to that device will start working immediately
